New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel is currently all-in with his focus on Super Bowl LX, as he has the rare opportunity to become a Super Bowl champion both as a player and as a coach. But before he takes on what may be the most important game of his professional coaching career, it is presumed that he is banking on the support of his family, especially his wife, Jen Vrabel.
Mike married Jen all the way back in 1999, which means that they’ve been officially married for over two decades. They have two children, namely, Tyler and Carter, who are both vying for an NFL career. Tyler played college football for the Boston College Eagles, while Carter is in his final year with the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
Through all of the football that goes around the Vrabel household, Jen is all-in with the support of her boys. Per The Tennessean, Jen Vrabel, then Jen Boleyn, first noticed Mike Vrabel during their college days at Ohio State University. Both being freshmen at the time, Jen apparently got Mike’s number through a professor whose lecture class they were both attending.
The two hit it off as Mike went on to be a standout for the Ohio State Buckeyes as a linebacker, while Jen was a known playmaker on the women’s volleyball team. Mike declared for the 1997 NFL Draft and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 91st overall pick in the third round. Jen, on the other hand, continued with her college course and graduated in 1998 with a degree in dental hygiene.
Moving on to the present day, the couple has been married for almost 27 years now. Jen and her sons give their all towards supporting Mike in his head coaching career. As it stands, Mike and his 2025-26 Patriots squad are ramping up to face Mike Macdonald’s Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Jen Vrabel Was Recently Spotted During The Tail End Of The 2025-26 NFL Regular Season
In a video posted by NFL reporter Mike Reiss on his X/Twitter account in December, Mike Vrabel can be seen walking into the arena for a regular-season game with his wife, Jen. This clip got the attention of several onlookers, as Jen usually keeps a low profile when it comes to dealing with the media. In the aforementioned game, the New England Patriots defeated the New York Jets 42-10 in away territory.
