Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby’s name continues to pop up in trade rumor talk.
The Raiders’ DE was furious with the franchise after they shut him down for its final two games of the regular season after he said he was healthy enough to play. On top of that, the Raiders have been a winning team in just one season since Crosby arrived to the team in 2019.
With Crosby’s time with the Raiders in jeopardy, more than half of the NFL is interested in possibly acquiring him. According to NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, potentially 20 teams are interested in Crosby.
Maxx Crosby Is Ignoring Trade Rumors, Focused On Football
Even though it isn’t totally in his full control, Maxx Crosby isn’t focused on a trade and the rumors. Speaking with Jim Gray on the “Let’s Go!” podcast, Crosby spoke didn’t feed into the trade rumors and said his focus was getting healthy and that he wants to be left alone.
The trade rumors regarding Crosby have been growing by the day. There was even a report this week that went around that Crosby told Raiders minority owner Tom Brady that he wouldn’t play for the franchise again.
In seven seasons, Crosby has become one of the most-feared defensive linemen, constantly disrupting opposing offenses. He has 439 tackles, 69.5 sacks, 133 tackles for loss, one interception, 29 pass deflections, 11 forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. He’s been named to five Pro Bowls and two All-Pro selections.
If Crosby does get traded at any point, the Raiders will very likely get at least two+ first-round picks in exchange.
