Ryan Clark, a former Pittsburgh Steelers standout, has joined in the team’s recent criticism by former linebacker Joey Porter. Appearing on current Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward’s “Not Just Football” podcast, Porter called out former quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Clark took to his X/Twitter on Wednesday, Feb. 11, to suggest that an action should be taken to eliminate any potential malice between the former Steelers players. Clark added that they should have a former players-only meeting, and the 46-year-old even compared their behavior to that of the Dallas Cowboys.
Clark and Porter have one Super Bowl title on their resumes, but on different occasions, as both won alongside Roethlisberger. Clark won Super Bowl XLIII, while Porter got his championship ring at Super Bowl XL. It seems as though Clark is hoping that the former Steelers keep their differences in private to limit public image-damaging.

Joey Porter Opined That Ben Roethlisberger Was A Great Quarterback, But Not A Great Teammate
Joey Porter made a statement on the “Not Just Football” podcast, criticizing Ben Roethlisberger and claiming that while he adores the latter as a quarterback, he wasn’t the best teammate.
“[Harrison] broke the brotherhood. The sh*t that 7 do, that did, that we don’t talk about, is crazy. Like out of anybody that should talk, he should never grab a microphone and really talk Steeler business. Because if we talk Steelers business, his a** is foul of all foul. The sh*t that he did is foul of all foul. He’s not a good teammate. Won the Super Bowl with him, but the person, he’s just not a good teammate. Like he knows that,” Porter shared.
“Anybody in the Steelers building knows that, but we protected him because I’ve only won one Super Bowl and that was my quarterback. So do I love my quarterback? Yeah, but is he a good person? No,” he continued.
