Is Maxx Crosby leaving the Raiders? There’s been some buzz behind the idea, but nothing tangible yet. However, that didn’t prevent journalist Kay Adams from pressing his teammate Ashton Jeanty about the subject on “Up & Adams.”
During the interview, she straight out told Jeanty that there’s a very real possibility of the team losing Crosby. Jeanty was clearly uncomfortable with the subject, but she pressed on, and he just tried to bear the conversation out of respect for the defensive end.
Fans online didn’t like the way Adams treated the 2025 NFL Draft first-round pick, and the way she was pouring negativity about the Raiders. They made their feelings known on X.
“@heykayadams is always trying to create drama for the Raiders,” wrote one fan.
“Ashton get away from this witch she tries to tear apart our team all the f*cking time,” alerted another person.
“You f*cking people can’t even spell Raiders ffs! Why on gods green earth should we think you have credibility!” said someone mocking the misspelling on the tweet.
“Who are the Raisers?” joked another person.
“Kay stop stirring up sh*t for the Raiders, also learn how to spell Raiders,” demanded another person.
Fans were saddened by the change in Kay Adams’ journalistic standards.
“Man I used to love watching Kay on good morning football, but can’t help and feel like her vibes now are always negative with the Raiders, I get enough negativity from my team just from being bad in general and now this media personality always trying to stir sh*t. 🤦🏻♂️,” lamented one person.
“Why tf they keep bringing this up when the man himself didnt say sh*t about being traded and these lame ass reports come out every year…” claimed another fan.
Maxx Crosby to Receive Las Vegas Raiders Commitment to Excellence Award
One thing is certain: Crosby’s teammates want him to stay. This Thursday, Raiders players voted Maxx Crosby to receive the Commitment to Excellence Award for the fifth straight year.
He will receive the honor on February 27 at the Commitment to Excellence Award dinner, which will be hosted by the Steering Committee for the Booster Clubs of the Raiders at the Lakeside Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It might be a gesture to have him stay; he surely deserves it.
