NFL Fans Baffled As Bucs Use Viral Yellowstone Bison Clip For Social Media Campaign: “Absolutely Insane”

A bison attack at Yellowstone has gone viral as many around the world are pulling for an elderly park visitor who was attacked, with a horrific video showing the animal throwing him up in the air. The elderly victim sustained multiple injuries and was sent to the hospital “in a lot of pain.” However, many are now raising their eyebrows as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are seemingly making light of the incident.

While the victim, 65-year-old Carl Isom-McDaniel, has been said to have saved his grandson from being the one attacked, the Bucs social media team used the footage of the attack in an effort to hype up fans for the upcoming season.

However, not many were happy with the post:

“This is absolutely insane to do when the man was seriously injured,” one user said.

“Dude is in the hospital man. Show some class,” another fan said.

“I don’t wanna be that guy, but this is in pretty bad taste coming from the Bucs official account 🤦‍♂️,” said another.

“Nice! This dude was 65, suffered broken bones and needed surgery. Making fun of him will bring bad mojo to the season and after last year’s 2-7 run, that’s the last thing we need. But hey, get your precious internet likes,” added another.

“Horrible and very distasteful association using a man that suffered serious injuries while running for his life. Whoever decided to post this from the Bucs should be fired,” one person commented.

“Buffalo does that to you a lot, don’t they,” one fan wrote.

Mike Macleod, who recorded the incident, revealed that Isom-McDaniel laughed the attack off but was still sent to the hospital afterward, according to the BBC.

Insider Says Bucs QB Baker Mayfield May Be A Lot More Hurt

As for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers themselves, it seems that their star QB, Baker Mayfield, may be more hurt than people initially realized. The Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud reported that it is not just the injury to his non-throwing shoulder that is bothering Mayfield.

“He also had a bad biceps contusion that … affected his velocity,” Stroud said.

This was revealed by Stroud in a teaser for the upcoming season of Netflix’s “Quarterback” series. Stroud also reported that Mayfield allegedly played with a sprained MCL and PCL from Week 2 of last season.
