The Las Vegas Raiders had one of the worst seasons for 2025, and they may be seeking to trade some of their key players to rebuild again, including defensive end Maxx Crosby. The defensive star was sidelined due to a recent knee surgery, but he had been posting that he was not really hurt and has been throwing shade at his team.
Because of his publicly airing out his frustration at the Raiders organization, Crosby is believed to be in the chopping block or will be getting used as trade fodder. However, the defensive end soon addressed these rumors during his appearance the on “Let’s Go!” podcast, saying he does not want to “throw gasoline on the fire” of these rumors.
“My focus has been on getting healthy because that’s all I can control right now,” he said. “That’s all that matters to me is being with my daughters and being with my wife and taking care of myself. People are gonna have rumors.”
“People can have their own opinions. I know what’s going on. I know my truth. And I don’t need to sit here and keep rehashing it to people that don’t know what’s going on. So, I don’t even waste time with it,” he added.
The five-time Pro Bowler did not really say that he wishes to stay with the team though, but for now, it seems that he is still with the Raiders after signing a $106.5 million contract extension last March.
Maxx Crosby Is Excited For New Raiders HC Klint Kubiak
The Raiders actually have a new coach in Klint Kubiak, and this might be a big reason why Crosby might be staying in Las Vegas. During an episode of his own podcast, “The Rush With Maxx,” the Raiders defensive star revealed that he has already met with his head coach and that he is impressed with the system that Kubiak is running.
Crosby then praised the new head coach, saying that his development of Sam Darnold to become a Super Bowl-winning QB speaks for itself, adding that Kubiak really knows how to bring out the “best” in his players.
