Her fearless character is a major factor in how she conducts things at the LSU Tigers. During a recent episode of the “104.5 ESPN” podcast, Mulkey was a guest, as she is every Wednesday without fail. She talks through her team’s week, what’s next for her and LSU, and whatever is going on around the sporting world.
This time, Mulkey commented on Bill Belichick’s NFL Hall of Fame snub. She recalled an experience she had with Belichick at the EPSYs when she was at Baylor. She shared that she thought she would beat everyone and train early on the treadmill. However, she was second best, as Belichick was already there. She said she picked his brain for a long time and then used all that when she returned to Baylor. She recalled this exchange and sounded off on his Hall of Fame snub.
Mulkey also talked about the college football legend at LSU, Lane Kiffin.
Kim Mulkey was asked about a sparkling jacket that she recently wore. She said the jacket was sitting in her wardrobe before discussing how Kiffin asked for it. Then, Mulkey made a hilarious remark about unsubstantiated rumors that she was dating Lane Kiffin.
“Listen, I’m not a social media person, but my kids and players and friends, they keep me posted. I’m supposed to be dating Lane for the last three months, right? Let’s see. He and I finally came out,” Kim Mulkey joked at 2:34.
“So, right, you know, I guess he’s trying to be a little smart. He probably saw that, and he say he trolls all the time. So, whatever the hell that means, I guess he trolls and said, ‘I need one.’ Well, he’s funny. He’s clever. He’s going to be a hit with a lot of people in Louisiana, but I’ll give him one bit of advice. You can troll. You can do all that you want, but you better win, big boy,” Mulkey added.
