Winter Olympics 2026: Complete List of American Athletes Who Qualified for the Games

The road to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo has officially taken shape, and Team USA is heading to Italy with one of its strongest and most exciting squads in history. After months of qualification events, trials, and World Cup competitions, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee has finalized its roster of athletes set to compete on the grandest winter sports stage from February 6-22, 2026.

A total of 232 American athletes have earned their places across 16 different sports, making this the largest US Winter Olympic delegation ever assembled. The squad features a dynamic mix of legendary champions, returning medalists, and fresh faces eager to make their Olympic debuts.

Team USA’s 2026 contingent is headlined by some of the biggest names in winter sports. In alpine skiing, global icon Mikaela Shiffrin leads the charge once again. Already one of the most decorated skiers in history, Shiffrin will be chasing further Olympic glory alongside veterans such as Lindsey Vonn, who makes a sensational return to the Olympic stage, and rising talents like River Radamus and Paula Moltzan.

Snowboarding powerhouse Chloe Kim will aim to continue her dominance in the halfpipe, while fellow Olympic champion Red Gerard returns in slopestyle and big air events. Freestyle skiing also boasts serious medal contenders, including Alex Hall, Jaelin Kauf, and halfpipe standout Alex Ferreira.

On the ice, figure skating prodigy Ilia Malinin, who is the first skater ever to land a quadruple Axel in competition, will headline a strong American figure skating team that includes Amber Glenn, Isabeau Levito, and ice dance legends Madison Chock and Evan Bates.

One of the defining features of the 2026 US team is its balance between experience and youth. Nearly 100 members of the roster are returning Olympians, and at the same time, dozens of athletes will be experiencing their first Olympics.  Let’s have a look at all the American athletes qualified for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
