Simone Biles slammed a fan on Instagram on Monday, shutting down the viral question about her connection with Taylor Swift after she shared pictures from the pop star’s wedding with Travis Kelce.
Swift and Kelce got married on Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York City. A bunch of their celebrity friends, including Simone Biles and Owens, a safety for the Indianapolis Colts, were invited. The gymnast shared a carousel of photos from the celebration on Instagram, wearing a stunning high-neck red gown, designed by DO Long. Owen donned a red velvet tuxedo jacket paired with black pants and a bow tie.
The post’s caption read:
“The perfect love story, followed by the perfect NIGHT ❣️.”
Shortly after, a fan questioned Biles’ connection with Swift:
“When has Simone Biles and Taylor Swift even spoken to each other?😂,”

The comment gained attention online, with some agreeing with it and some standing up for the gymnast. Simone Biles dropped her own explanation:
“@odessareyes1 remember this, I only show y’all what I want y’all to know.”

Simone Biles took a dig at haters following criticism of vacation pictures after a health scare
In early June, Simone Biles revealed that she had been hospitalized after experiencing what she described as a near-death experience. She shared a photo of her wrist with three hospital bands on her Instagram story but didn’t reveal what the medical emergency was.
“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age. But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week❤️🩹 This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan was in Indy for practices. I’ve been in bed resting this week, I’ll explain sooner or later but s/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited & or sent flowers 🤍🤍🤍 loooovveeee y’all,” wrote Simone Biles.
Days after the update, she traveled to Belize with her husband, Jonathan Owens, and posted a bunch of selfies from the trip.
One social media user mocked her for traveling so soon after her hospitalization:
“Almost died but look at these traveling selfies….😂😂😂.”

Biles took a jab at the fan:
“Ugh these comments make me sad. a little over two weeks ago, I experienced a serious medical emergency that could have ended very differently, and this trip has been part of allowing myself to heal & appreciate being here. I hope you understand that life changing experiences can shift your perspective. & that you’re able to extend a little more grace to others moving forward 😘 have a nice day!”

Simone Biles was last seen in action at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won four medals: three gold and one silver.
