When Harper Murray Weighed in on Embracing Her Platform After Being One of The Faces of College Volleyball
Before the commencement of the 2025 NCAA Volleyball Championships, Harper Murray sat for a conversation with Hail Varsity, where she was asked about her thoughts on being one of the faces of college volleyball. Opening up about the pressure she faces that comes with the responsibility, she said that she tries to be natural on social media (7:30):
“I feel like I have, and sometimes it can be hard, like you forget the pressure that it comes with, but I think I try and have fun with it, and I try and be myself on social media. Sometimes it might not be what people like, but I think that’s kind of the point, like I don’t want to apologize for who I am.
“So I think social media is a great way to do that. I’m not going to guard myself, and I’ll always try and be myself, and social media has definitely given me the platform to do that, and I’ve let other people into my life through that.”
Harper Murray recently clarified her dating rumors with college basketball player Fletcher Loyer and confirmed her relationship with boyfriend Heinrich Haarberg.
