    Dallas Pulse Defeat Omaha Supernovas: 2026 MLV Championships Results, Recap, $1M Prize Money, MVP, Final Standings

    Dallas Pulse reigned supreme over the Omaha Supernovas last night during the finals battle for the cup at the 2026 MLV championships. The Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas, has witnessed a professional volleyball triumph as the finale dubbed “Match for a Million” surpassed massive expectations with sets exceeding five, alongside an attendance of a sellout crowd that made the evening what it was supposed to be.

    For the first time in major league volleyball history, it took five full sets for a match to crown a champion as the Pulse outlasted the Supernovas in a 3-2 finisher. The showdown featured momentous swings, thrilling kills, and clutch-serving runs by standout individual performers in front of 4,598 fans who sold out the arena.

    The win has handed Dallas a whopping $1 million as prize money, as this payout was the central stake behind the “Match for a Million” theme to leave behind an impact that will prompt the masses to remember the game of volleyball.

    2026 MLV championships: Results and Recap & $1M Prize Money

    The 2026 MLV championships finals witnessed one of the most thrilling volleyball court fights in recent years as Dallas entered the court after an impressive playoff run, while Omaha came in with a legacy burden of its franchise.

    The Supernovas were helped in composing their early rounds by opposite Merritt Beason, who finished with a team-high 20 points and 14 kills, while Brooke Nuneviller posted 15 kills, alongside outside hitter Sarah Parsons’ three aces, helping the Supernovas grab the first and third sets, 25-20 and 25-15.

    Dallas, however, quickly paced their game with outside hitter Sofia Maldonado Diaz and Natalia Valentin-Anderson and won the second set and fourth sets, 25-23 and 12-4. They then scored seven of the next 10 points to take the lead, and as the Supernovas brought the score back to 10-8, Dallas regained control with an offensive surge and ultimately took home the trophy at 15-9.

    The winning team has received a total of $1M in prize money, which is scheduled to be divided among the roster.

    MVP 

    The 2026 MLV championships finals were the narrowest bout ever, as the two teams were separated by only five points in the cumulative match point total (100-95).

    Sofia Maldonado Diaz of the Dallas Pulse was named MVP of the night as she delivered 26 kills, out of which five came during the final moments of the set that led the team to victory.

    The playoff rounds, however, have changed the game, and the Dallas Pulse currently holds the No. 1 spot in the postseason rankings.
