Olympic gold medalist runner Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone has become a mom, and joining hands in celebrating the milestone journey were fellow elite sports stars Coco Gauff, Gabby Thomas, Femke Bol, and more. McLaughlin-Levrone made the announcement on her Instagram and has shared glimpses of the little one’s homecoming.
Monday, McLaughlin-Levrone, along with her husband, former NFL wide receiver Andre Levrone Jr, announced the arrival of their first child – a baby girl. They broke the news by sharing a compilation of photos from the newborn photoshoot, which quickly caught the attention of fellow athletes.

In the photos, the couple held the newborn close to them in an intimate black and white style portraits. In one closeup shot, the baby can be seen holding onto a finger of her dad.
Since announcing her pregnancy, McLaughlin-Levrone has been vocal about the mental challenges that come along with embracing motherhood, and the emotional journey from tracks to becoming a parent.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, alongside her husband, broke the internet with a touching caption to the news of the arrival of her newborn child. Revealing the child’s name as Savannah Michelle Levrone, the Olympian wrote on her Instagram:
“Savannah Michelle Levrone 💗🥹
Our blessing and our joy is finally here! So grateful for everyone who supported us through the pregnancy journey. Looking forward to seeing what God has in store for our little girl!! ✨.”
After nine months of engagement, the couple had tied the knot back in May 2022, and earlier this January, had announced that they were finally expecting their first child sometime during this year.
