Brooke Nuneviller Reveals Supernovas’ Winning Mindset as Playoff Push Intensifies

Brooke Nuneviller spoke optimistically about the Omaha Supernovas’ mental game plan ahead of the playoffs. She spoke extensively about how harboring a winning mindset has let the team cool off any negativity and focus only on what’s ahead.

The Major League Volleyball (MLV) All-Star weekend has just ended, with Team Meskie beating Team Launier 2-1. Nuneviller, alongside her supernova mate Emily Londot, was selected as the supernova representatives in the all-star match, and despite playing opposites, managed to shine in their own respective ways.

After the bout, Nuneviller spoke about the upcoming competitive matches and how the team is focused more on learning from past mistakes, alongside shedding light on how good their practice sessions have been.

“I think we’ve been through some things, this season and we’ve worked really, really hard off the court just to build team morale and I feel like the last couple weeks of practice have just been the best that we’ve seen it and everyone is just like really focused and I think when you have like losses in a season you can either pout about them or you can take it as an opportunity to just grow and learn from it and we’re really taking those opportunities.

She also highlighted how excited the team is for the upcoming matches.

“It was amazing and like last year they had just a month to prepare and still did a fantastic job and I loved how we were pampered and so yeah it was great to see the league grow<‘ she said.

Londot too appreciated the event organization and highlighted how relaxed the team was to prep for their match, while also appreciating the competitive spirit brought into the match by both teams.
