Arman Tsarukyan recently dropped a reaction to his viral moment at RAF 08 on April 18, where he threw his opponent, Urijah Faber, off the mat. The event took place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia.
Tsarukyan stole the spotlight at the Real American Freestyle (RAF 08) on Saturday after producing a dominant performance in the middleweight category against Faber. He defeated the UFC Hall of Fame by a technical fall with a score of 13-1. He built his momentum early in the match, jumping to an 8-0 lead in the first period and made jaws drop with his performance in the second period.
Creating a viral moment, he executed a single-leg takedown, throwing both himself and his opponent off the stage near the commentary stage. However, both athletes escaped the incident without any serious injuries. In the third period, he secured four points to claim the win. His performance is currently making rounds all over the internet, making it one of the most viral performances of the event.
Tsarukyan recently reacted to the viral moment by penning a short note on X that read:

After securing a win against Urijah Faber at RAF 08, Arman Tsarukyan sat for a post-fight press conference, where he was asked for his take on diving himself and his contender off the mat during the bout. Responding to this, he revealed that it wasn’t intentional and he couldn’t control much amid the match. He also called Faber an ‘OG.’
“I don’t control myself so much so if something happens, it’s not like I was thinking about throwing him off the stage. Something that happened from my mind. It comes right away. No, how can I throw him on purpose? He’s an OG,” said Arman Tsarukyan.
He also spoke about the publicity value of his match, stating that he and his opponent both needed to go viral.
“Thank god, Urijah didn’t get hurt and we went viral. We need that,” he added.
Sharing their opinion on the incident, one of the RAF executives, Izzy Martinez, revealed that he didn’t like what happened and called it ‘pretty dirty.’
“Pushing a guy off the stage is pretty dirty to me and I’m not a big fan of that. I didn’t like it on my end, even though it was viral,” he said.
In the same press conference, Arman Tsarukyan also challenged Colby Covington for a future RAF bout.
