Alysa Liu recently opened up about participating in the Dancing With the Stars show if an opportunity arises. Since her successful campaign at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, Liu has been navigating a busy schedule with media interviews and attending glamorous events.
Recently, she attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2026 red carpet, wearing a black dress with metal pearls. During an interview on the red carpet, she revealed her position on participating in the Dancing With the Stars show. Liu highlighted that although she loves dancing, she is skeptical about appearing on the professional dance show.
“I don’t know if I would do Dancing With The Stars,” Liu said. “I love dancing and I’ll keep dancing, but I don’t know if I’ll do it.”
When asked what would be her reaction if she receives a call from the show, Liu simply nodded her head, stating her unreadiness.
“Atleast for now that’s my answer,” she added.
Liu has also announced her withdrawal from competing at the 2026 World Championships. However, the two-time Olympic gold medalist will be seen participating in the Stars on Ice Tour alongside ice dance silver medalists Madison Chock and Evan Bates, “Quad god” Ilia Malinin, and Olympic team gold medalists Amber Glenn and Isabeau Levito. The tour will be held across multiple cities, including Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando in April.
