Despite the rocky relationship, Brady took a moment to turn Belichick’s strict training ways into an important life lesson during his speech at Georgetown University.

In his commencement speech on graduation day, Brady advised the students to challenge themselves with ideas that are uncomfortable and be around people who push them to be their best versions, even if it’s “a cranky old coach who cuts the sleeves off his sweatshirt and screams at you all day.”

Bill Belichick Advocates for Tom Brady to Get Massive Honor
Bill Belichick recently appeared on SiriusXM’s “Let’s Go” podcast and advocated for Tom Brady to get a massive honor in the NFL world.
The 8x Super Bowl-winning head coach said that the NFL should name the Lombardi Trophy after Tom Brady, as he has won seven of them.
“Players win games. You can’t win games without good players.” Belichick said.
Belichick argued that as a coach, he didn’t make any tackles and any kicks.
