Former NFL insider for The Athletic Dianna Russini is currently in hot water following photos of her alleged affair with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel surfaced. The alleged affair calls into question her credibility, as she may have received first-hand information regarding trades and other team moves from the man she had been having an affair with.
Russini was also cast as a hero as she had reportedly saved an elderly man and his dog during a car crash. This happened just a week after the Mike Vrabel scandal exploded, and that story itself is now also being thrown into question.
The story was first reported by the New York Post’s Page Six, in an article by Oli Coleman with the headline “Dianna Russini mounts daring rescue of elderly man, dog trapped in car crash a week after Mike Vrabel scandal.” The story stated that the reporter helped out an elderly man and his dog escape a car crash after his jeep flipped over in a New Jersey suburb.
Two weeks later, however, Page Six released an update on that article, and it revealed that the initial story did not play out as it was written, The original story reportedly has Russini get helped by a man climb the tipped-over jeep and help the elderly man and his dog out.
However, the new report stated that while Russini was there on the scene, she was not the one who climbed the wreckage but another person. She did help out by holding the dog as the others were helping the elderly man out.
Former Mike Vrabel Teammate Says More Pics of Coach With Dianna Russini May Be Coming
Meanwhile, former Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson has been spilling tea on what he knows regarding Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini. He had been teammates with Vrabel from 2001 to 2004, winning three Super Bowls along the way, and he stated that more pictures of the two together could surface.
“I think there could be more that comes out, where there are more pictures,” he said. “I think there are people who probably took pictures of [Vrabel] in public before, years ago, and just didn’t think anything of it. Now the story comes out and now they go, ‘Oh, that picture I took.’”
Russini and Vrabel were initially spotted being cozy with one another at the Ambiente resort in Sedona, Arizona. Page Six released photos of the two of them holding hands and acting as if they were in a relationship. However, Vrabel has since stated that these photos just showed “a completely innocent interaction.”
