Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, which happened on July 3 at Madison Square Garden, has been one of the most talked-about social events of the year, with fans and analysts even calling it a “royal wedding.”
The popular couple hosted around 1,000 guests at a castle-themed venue.
The star-studded as it could be, filled with NFL stars, their wives, and A-listers from the Hollywood and modeling world.
Talking about how Swift didn’t really make her wedding intimate as she invited people she had just met once, like Charles Barkley, Celebrity journalist, Rob Shuter shared his thoughts on “The Megyn Kelly Show,” a conservative-leaning talk show, on Wednesday.
“It’s your wedding. This is not the Academy Awards. This is not a party. This is not the Grammys. It’s your wedding.“ Shutter said. “And on that one day, you couldn’t have a moment for yourself and your groom. It had to be this production, and it had to be this over-the-top extravaganza for people you don’t know. It’s really telling, isn’t it? But even so, this was so vulgar. It was so over the top.”
Ryan Clark Describes Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Wedding
Ryan Clark was one of the NFL fraternity members invited to the Swift and Kelce wedding.
In his podcast, “The Pivot,” Clark said that while he has no entitlement to being there, he is grateful that the couple considered him close enough.
Talking about the wedding in itself, Clark said:
“It’s not my story to tell. I don’t get to say what went on, what it looked like, who was there. I will say this, I did get an opportunity to speak to Trav at the reception. And I just hugged him, man, and I said, you know, the one thing that was extremely evident the entire night throughout the vows was those two humans really love each other.”
Clark then called both Swift and Kelce “insanely talented, successful, and well-off people” who are fortunate enough to have found their person.
