Shilo Sanders, who played for his father at Colorado during his college career, signed as an undrafted free agent after going unpicked in the 2024 NFL Draft.
While Shilo comes from a talented NFL family with his dad being a renowned player and his brother, Shedeur, playing as the Browns QB, the former Colorado safety’s career in the league has been short-lived.

Shilo started off the minicamp on a high note as everyone was impressed with his charisma and efforts and later got the chance to play in the first two NFL preseason games. While the first one was impressive, he ended up being ejected from the third one because of an on-field brawl with Bills tight end.
Shortly after the incident Shilo was waived from the roster.
Months after getting waived off, Shilo revealed that he won’t be making a comeback in the NFL, as he doesn’t believe there’s any light at the end of the tunnel for him in the league.
“He was trash anyways. Thats what people like him do “Give up” when life gets too hard. Just goes to show he has no skill sets. He can’t ball. He just hung onto his daddy’s coattails until he couldn’t no more. Now he’s out of excuses. All of that talk about proving himself when the Bucs gave him a shot. But he didn’t want it. He’s not good enough to play in the NFL.” one fan reacted.

Shilo Sanders’ Comment Towards Mary Kay Cabot Amid Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson QB Battle
Shilo Sanders recently made the headlines for an insensitive comment he made towards Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot in response to her advice to Todd Monken.
Cabot reported that she thinks Deshaun Watson is finishing the minicamp with an edge over Shedeur Sanders and asked Monken to name the veteran player the starting quarterback already.
Shilo wrote, “Go make me a sandwich, Mary,” on Instagram as he reacted to Cabot’s comments, which wasn’t well received by many fans and analysts.
