The Tennessee Titans have had a rough few years in the league. They haven’t made it to the playoffs since 2021. The last two years have been even worse for the Titans as they’ve had just three wins and 14 losses each season.
So, when the 2026 NFL Draft came around, they knew they had to make some great picks in order to stabilize the franchise for the next few years. The Titans did well at the draft, picking talented and promising players at different positions.
The Ohio State Buckeyes’ wide receiver Carnell Tate was their biggest addition this year. The Titans drafted him as their fourth overall pick. They had one more pick, No. 31, in the first round, which they used for Auburn’s Keldric Faulk.
The Titans drafted eight players in the 2026 NFL Draft. Five of their eight draft picks signed their rookie contracts with the franchise on April 30. All eight players have also received their jersey numbers.
Wide receiver Carnell Tate will wear #14 for the Titans. Edge Keldric Faulk has received #15. LB Anthony Hill Jr. will wear #53, G Fernando Carmona Jr. will wear #66, RB Nick Singleton #32, DT Jackie Marshall #96, C Pat Coogan #79, and TE Jaren Kanak #47.
The Titans’ undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver Tyren Montgomery will wear #19. These jersey numbers were chosen by the players for their first season. However, there is a possibility that we might see some changes before the start of the regular season.
Tennessee Titans Head Coach on Rookie Minicamp
The Tennessee Titans have had a few coaching changes over the last few years. Mike Vrabel was the head coach for the Titans from 2018 to 2023. Then they hired Brian Callahan, a first-time head coach, in 2024.
He was fired in October 2025, and senior offensive assistant Mike McCoy took over as interim head coach for the rest of the season. Now, the Titans have hired Robert Saleh, a former Super Bowl Champion, as their new head coach.
During a recent media interaction, Saleh talked about the rookie minicamp and what his process is going to be with the new batch of players.
“Over the weekend, with our draft picks, we’re going to be doing more baseline checking with them. So, they’re going to be in the weight room with the strength and conditioning coaches. They’re meeting with all of us throughout the day,” he said.
Saleh said that they’ll keep things light for now because the draft picks have traveled a lot over the last few days.
