    How Many Alabama Players Were Drafted in 2026 NFL Draft? List of All Crimson Tide Stars Heading to the League

    The Alabama Crimson Tide was one of the most dominant programs at the 2026 NFL Draft. 10 Alabama players were drafted this weekend, which is tied for the second most players from a program.

    256 total players from 75 different colleges across the country realized their lifelong dream of becoming an NFL athlete. Some players suffered setbacks this weekend as they remained undrafted.

    Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza, the 2026 Heisman winner, was the No. 1 overall draft pick by the Las Vegas Raiders, whereas the Heisman finalist, Diego Pavia of the Vanderbilt Commodores, remained undrafted.

    Ohio State led the group of 75 colleges with 11 total players drafted in the 2026 NFL Draft. They were followed by Alabama and Texas A&M with 10 players each. Here are the 10 Alabama players who became NFL athletes over the weekend.

    Alabama Players Drafted in the 2026 NFL Draft

    Alabama recorded two first-round picks: Kadyn Proctor, who went to the Miami Dolphins as their 12th pick, and Ty Simpson, who went to the Los Angeles Rams as the 13th overall pick.

    In the second round, Alabama’s Germie Bernard went to the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 47th overall pick.

    Alabama’s LT Overton went to the Dallas Cowboys as the only fourth-round pick, 137th overall.

    Alabama hit it big in the fifth round with three players being drafted. Parker Brailsford and Justin Jefferson went to the Cleveland Browns as the 146th and 149th picks, respectively. Josh Cuevas joined the Baltimore Ravens as their 173rd pick.


    Domani Jackson went to the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round as the 201st pick, and Tim Keenan III, 232, and Jam Miller, 245, were drafted in the seventh round by the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots, respectively.

    After Ohio State, Alabama, and Texas A&M, Clemson, Miami, and Texas Tech recorded the most players going to the NFL, with nine each.

    Georgia, Indiana, and Penn State followed them with eight players. Iowa, LSU, Oregon, Washington, Florida, and Oklahoma had seven. And Michigan, Missouri, Notre Dame, and Texas had six.

    This was Ohio State’s second straight season with most players going to the NFL. Last year, they had 14 players drafted in the NFL Draft. Alabama, on the other hand, only had seven. But the total number of colleges with at least one drafted player was 86 in 2025.
