Landry Kiffin, the daughter of LSU Tigers coach Lane Kiffin, spent part of her Friday with her mom, Layla Kiffin, catching up with Flatland Cavalry.
Landry posted two photos on Instagram: one featuring the concert venue, and the other showing Layla displaying a message on the back of her denim jacket that also included a vinyl record graphic.
“You are what you listen to,” read the message, as Layla flashed a peace sign.
“OK. Mom,” Landry wrote in the caption, admiring the 52-year-old’s fashion choice.

Flatland Cavalry performed live in Baton Rouge at Texas Club on Friday. The concert was part of their Spring 2026 tour.
One of the highlights of the evening was the band’s performance of “Callin’ Baton Rouge.” It is a country song recorded by Garth Brooks in 1994. At Lane Kiffin’s LSU, “Callin’ Baton Rouge” is a tradition at football games just before kickoff.
Landry is in a relationship with LSU Tigers linebacker Whit Weeks. On Jan. 7, she posted a series of photos on Instagram to “celebrate” Weeks’ birthday in the Bahamas. A picture that stood out was Weeks standing on the deck of a boat, leaning casually against the railing. He was shirtless with a white towel wrapped around his waist.

Landry made her relationship with the LSU star Instagram-official last September. She posted a photo of them together in a carousel of other photos before her father’s team (then Ole Miss) was set to play Weeks’ team (LSU) on Sept. 27.
Ultimately, Lane’s team got the last laugh that week, as Ole Miss defeated LSU 24-19.
Landry Kiffin’s Boyfriend Whit Weeks Will Play Under Her Father Lane Kiffin at LSU
On Jan. 1, Whit Weeks announced he is returning to LSU for his senior season. His announcement on Instagram was the perfect New Year’s Day gift for Tigers fans.
“College is too much fun to leave, and there is no better place in the country to be right now than Baton Rouge, Louisiana,” Weeks wrote. “All I want to do is ball in the purple and gold. See you in September.”
After a spectacular 2024 season, he had a frustrating 2025 campaign, where a broken fibula and subsequent ankle injuries limited him to just eight games and 31 tackles.
Lane Kiffin has made retaining Weeks a priority for his inaugural season at LSU, as reported by Sports Illustrated on Dec. 27.
Whit will be joined on the 2026 roster by his younger brother, Zach Weeks, who is also a linebacker.
