    In 14 NFL seasons, Shannon Sharpe reportedly earned $22.3 million in salary. This includes a four-year, $13.8 million contract he signed with the Ravens in 2000. When he returned to the Broncos in 2002, he signed a seven-year, $16 million deal. Despite what now appears to be a modest salary figure, given how much today’s top tight ends earn, Sharpe was handsomely paid during his era.
