The biggest night in fashion, the Met Gala, wrapped up on Monday. Several athletes attended the annual charity event, including Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. He was spotted alongside his girlfriend, Olivia Ponton, a model and social media influencer.
After the event, the celebrity couple attended one of the after-parties together, with Burrow trading his navy-blue suit and pants for a white tank top and pants.
While they were part of the big event and the after-party, Joe Burrow and Olivia Ponton did not stay in New York City for long. The couple was soon spotted back at their hotel.
Burrow also reunited with former college teammate Justin Jefferson, now with the Minnesota Vikings.
The theme for the night was “Costume Art,” and both former LSU stars were spotted catching up. Burrow had a more muted look with some embroidery on his jacket, while Jefferson had designs on his shoulders and necktie. The two former LSU teammates are no strangers to fashion, as both participated in Paris Fashion Week in 2024.
Joe Burrow and GF Olivia Ponton Also Spotted Together During the Kentucky Derby
It has been a whirlwind week for Joe Burrow and his girlfriend, Olivia Ponton, so far. Not only were they in New York City for the Met Gala, but they were also previously in Lexington for the Kentucky Derby. Regarded as the biggest horse race in the US, the “Race for the Roses” serves as the first leg of the US Triple Crown, and the celebrity couple took in the action at Churchill Downs.
The Bengals quarterback was seen cheering loudly as the Derby reached a dramatic climax. He wore a maroon fedora and a gray T-shirt, jumping up and down as Golden Tempo went from last to first in an end-of-the-closer performance reminiscent of the great Triple Crown winner, Secretariat.
