LOOK: Jaxson Dart and GF Marissa Ayers Kick Off Offseason With Scenic Fishing Outing

Jaxson Dart’s New York Giants concluded another disappointing season earlier this month. They finished the season on a positive note with a 34-17 win against the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium.

The Giants remained at the bottom of the NFC East chart with just four wins and 13 losses, marking another season where they hold the last place in the division. But it’s not all bad news for the Giants this month so far.

Arguably, the biggest thing the franchise has done so far is hire John Harbaugh as its head coach. With Harbaugh at the helm, the Giants can hope to make a splash next season as they already have a capable roster.

But before the preparation for the next season begins, the players are going to enjoy the offseason. Jaxson Dart has kick-started his off time by going on a fishing trip in the middle of the ocean with his girlfriend, Marissa Ayers.

Although Dart or Ayers didn’t post pictures or videos from their trip, Felipe Valdez, who runs a charter for such activities, shared snippets on Instagram. Dart was seen catching fish from a boat.

The crew also had chefs on board who immediately went to work, preparing meals for everyone on the boat. Dart and his girlfriend were seen posing with a fish they caught, and Dart recorded the chefs preparing meals for everyone.

Although the Giants didn’t have a good season, Dart showed flashes of brilliance sprinkled across several games. He finished the season with 2272 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions.

Now that the Giants have a Super Bowl-winning head coach with a proven track record for the next season, they are expected to make some major improvements before the next season comes around.

Jaxson Dart and John Harbaugh Had a Good Meeting

Harbaugh and Dart met earlier this month, right before the coach was finalized for the position. According to reports, they had a good meeting that lasted nearly two hours. In fact, the Giants executives had to step in to break it up as they had a pre-hiring interview to conclude.

These are early signs of a coach and a quarterback getting along well, which has historically been the recipe for success for any franchise.

“That’s kind of a big deal. I’m excited about Jaxson Dart,” Harbaugh SAID. “You build your team around your quarterback. You build your team around your players and what they do well. I like the way he plays. I like his talent, skill set, all the things he’s accomplished, but more than that, I like who he is and what he’s about.”

Harbaugh is hopeful they’ll continue to have great conversations about football in the future because they share a love for the sport.
