Odell Beckham Jr. is a former New York Giants wide receiver, and he played his last game for the Miami Dolphins in the 2024 season. Last October, the NFL suspended the wide receiver for six games in the 2025 season due to violating the league’s performance-enhanced drugs policy.
On Monday, the receiver sparked return rumors through his cryptic social media activity. OBJ commented under Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart’s Instagram post. He posted three “Face with Steam From Nose (😤)” images, which are often used to say “Let’s do this!” or to show that someone is working hard.
Like many, even Dart thought that OBJ was contemplating returning to the field, so he asked:
“Watcha say, bruh 🤫”
While OBJ has not replied to Dart’s reply, it won’t be a surprise if he decides to return next season.
Giants Fans Petitions For Odell Beckham Jr. To Return
Last month, on February 4, popular NYC sports content creator Jojo Scarlotta launched a petition on Change.org, where he urged the Giants to re-sign Odell Beckham Jr. This comes after the wide receiver publicly expressed his desire to return to the NFL.
OBJ actually asked fans to file the petition to bring him back to the Giants.
“Y’all put the petition up to get me back to the Giants,” he wrote.
Scarlotta stepped up and has amassed over 4,600 signatures since it was launched on February 4. In his promotion for the receiver, Scarlotta highlighted how OBJ could impact and share his experience with young Giants receivers.
OBJ first broke into the NFL scene after he was selected 12th overall by the Giants in the 2014 NFL draft. He won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and all three Pro Bowl selections came during his tenure with the Giants.
It’s important to note that OBJ has been reinstated by the NFL after he served his six-game suspension while playing for the Miami Dolphins. Therefore, in November, OBJ was clear to sign any team. But no team offered him a deal.
