Myles Garrett is now a Los Angeles Ram. This was after the Cleveland Browns made the most surprising move of the NFL offseason so far, trading their top defensive player for Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick from the Los Angeles Rams.
Despite leaving the only NFL franchise he has played for so far after almost a decade, Garrett seems unbothered in his personal life. In an Instagram story from this Thursday morning on his girlfriend’s account, he can be seen enjoying his week in casual attire.

The picture shows Myles Garrett and his girlfriend, Winter Olympian Chloe Kim, taking a mirror selfie in casual sporty attire. Garrett is wearing a T-shirt and shorts, while holding a backpack and a handbag, and Kim is in a top and a pair of joggers.
Kim is a professional snowboarder who has won two gold and one silver Winter Olympic medals. She’s a first-generation Korean American, with her parents hailing from the peninsula. She and Garrett first met in late 2024 through their physical therapist. By May 2025, their relationship had already gone public.
In February of this year, Garrett was seen at the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics to support her as she won her third Olympic medal.
Did Myles Garrett request a trade to the Los Angeles Rams?
The idea that Myles Garrett, frustrated with the forever-in-rebuild status of the Cleveland Browns, requested a trade to the Los Angeles Rams has become a serious rumor in the NFL. The idea seems plausible enough.
However, according to Browns general manager, Andrew Berry, this wasn’t at all what happened. The front office executive maintains that it was the Rams who approached them, and while they initially wanted Garrett to spend his entire career at Cleveland, it eventually became evident that this wasn’t the best move for the team itself.
“As discussions intensified we were stuck at a legitimate crossroads: do we hold on to a truly generational player who has become the identity of our team, or do we make the difficult decision that we think is best for the organization over the long run?”
Regardless, Myles Garrett is now with a team that has to be considered a Super Bowl contender. A first in his almost decade-long career.
