One of the greatest rivalries in football is definitely between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, with the rivalry going back decades. Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon experienced it first hand last season, with the Bears ultimately winning the NFC North and eliminating the Packers from the playoffs. He sounded off on the rivalry and said that they are not worried about their rivalry and that their priority is winning the NFC North.
“They hate us more than we hate them. We’ve been worried about other teams… Our process is not the Chicago Bears. Thats not our Super Bowl. Our process is to win the NFC North first. We gotta beat them anyway,” he told reporters.
After their elimination at the hands ofthe Bears last season, fans soon pushed back against Keisean Nixon’s comments, pointing out that he has yet to prove anything over at Green Bay.
“Bro hasn’t won the north once and now he tryna be nonchalant after a season of being put on posters 😭,” one person claimed.
“I love how all the sudden it’s “we don’t even care, bro. We don’t even think about them.” LMAO!! Prior to the Wildcard game is was “we want the Bears” and “We want our get back”. another fan pointed out.
““They hate us more than we hate them. We’ve been worried about other teams” as you talk about the Bears in June in a Packers press conference.” another person added.
“The Packers have the longest drought of winning the NFC North. You can save that noise.” said one commenter.
“Just salty he got skunked all year by every Bears WR,” reminded one fan.
“He probably should be worried about a division rival that has beaten them twice in a row and eliminated them from the playoffs.” added another.
Green Bay Packers Have Big Question Mark at Cornerback Position, Even With Keisean Nixon
The Green Bay Packers have one big problem on defense, and that is that they do not have elite cornerbacks right now. Nate Hobbs got injured early last season and struggled, while Keisean Nixon has had his moments, but ultimately struggled against better offenses.
New starter Carrington Valentine also struggled. with Benjamin St-Juste possibly trying to go after his spot as a starter. With Keisean Nixon being the highest-paid among them, he is probably safe as a starter.
