After one year and playing in just 12 games with the Washington Huskies, senior guard Desmond Claude is returning to the transfer portal. He averaged 13.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game during those games with the Huskies.
He originally played for Xavier for his first two collegiate years before transferring to USC and then to Washington.
Claude is a consistent shooter, averaging 42.6% from the floor and can light up the scoreboard when needed. The question is, where should he go for his senior season?

BYU Cougars
The Cougars are facing a big exodus of talent and need a good scorer to make up for the big names they are losing like Richie Saunders and AJ Dybantsa. This could be a good place for Desmond Claude, as he might be able to shine as a guard here.
Kansas Jayhawks
Bill Self is known to be an elite coach. However, he has been having some problems in dealing with players entering the transfer portal, as like BYU, they are also losing players left and right. A guard who can score at will and has good ball handling could be what they are looking for right now.
Kansas State Wildcats
Another team hit hard by the transfer portal, the Wildcats entered this season as one of the favorites but floundered earlier and struggled throughout the season.
They need an injection of new talent and the transfer portal could give them their answer, including Desmond Claude who may be able to fit in with the team as they try to rebuild.
Rutgers Scarlet Knights
The team had much success last year but failed to meet expectations this year, especially after losing its backcourt duo to the NBA draft. Now, the Scarlet Knights are back to the drawing board and seeking to recapture past glory, and they may need a guard who can score.
Kentucky Wildcats
Kentucky needs guards right now, and this could be the big program that Desmond Claude needs to shine. Mark Pope is known to be a good coach for developing players, and he could lead the guard to the break he needs.
