John Calipari added 4-star Caleb Ourigou to the Arkansas Razorbacks roster on Tuesday. The 6-foot-10 center visited Kevin Young’s BYU, Mark Pope’s Kentucky and Dan Hurley’s UConn before confirming his commitment to the Razorbacks. He was ranked 37th in the 2027 class.
Arkansas fans celebrated his commitment. However, there was some discourse from the fans of the other teams.
Ourigou averaged 12.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2 blocks per game on the EYBL circuit for the NY Rens. He shot 63.7%, and then topped that display with an average of 9.8 ppg and 7.8 rpg at the NBPA Top 100 Camp earlier in the summer. He is set to reclassify from 2027.
John Calipari’s Arkansas roster for upcoming season
With the latest addition of Ourigou, the Razorbacks roster looks absolutely stacked for the upcoming season. It is touted to be one of the most promising rosters under John Calipari, especially for Arkansas.
The guards include Ayden Kelley, Jeremiah Wilkinson, Amere Brown, Jordan Smith and Davion Thompson. They have six forwards: Billy Richmond, Isaiah Sealy, Paulo Semedo, Abdou Tourre, JJ Andrews and the massive transfer Miikka Muurinen. The centers include Cooper Bowser, Illia Frolov, Maper Makar and Caleb Ourigou.
