Donald Trump Set To Host College Sports Roundtable With Nick Saban, Tiger Woods, And More Despite USA-Iran Tensions

Despite the tense situation, the president of the United States has non-world-altering plans at the end of the week, which include golf legend Tiger Woods as well as coach Nick Saban.

Trump and various high-ranking media sports officials and media members were set to have a roundtable on Friday. With the brewing situation taking place in the Middle East, some had doubted whether the roundtable would take place. According to a Monday report by On3’s Pete Nakos, the roundtable has not been cancelled. However, there is a significant chance of rescheduling.

“Sources tell On3 as of Monday that the roundtable is still scheduled as of now, although they cautioned that the odds of it happening this week are 50-50 at best,” the report read.

The key phrase, “at best,” suggests that it is more likely for a reschedule to take place than to keep plans as is. However, based on the report, it appears that there are no plans to cancel the roundtable indefinitely, although it is unknown when a reschedule might take place.

The president usually has things planned out months in advance, although if one event gets cancelled earlier for one reason or another, there might be a chance for an earlier time. Trump will have to choose his priorities with his team.
