The Sherrone Moore scandal has been one of the biggest at the University of Michigan.
Mooore was not only fired from Michigan in December 2025 for having an inappropriate relationship with a staff member, but was also arrested for invading the staff member’s house and threatening to kill himself and her for allegedly ending the relationship.
While the scandal was transpiring, many young women came forward on Instagram and shared the inappropriate DMs that Moore sent them despite being married, which included inviting them to watch the Wolverines’ games.
On Friday, a report emerged about Moore that claimed that the ex-Michigan head coach gave a raise to a staff member, LaTroy Lewis, who was accused of sexual assault.
Insider Justin Spiro revealed that a woman went to Moore to share about the assault by Lewis, who was with Michigan at the time, only to be brushed off by the ex-Wolverines head coach.
“The more and more stuff that comes out, I think Sherrone Moore might be the single worst person to ever coach football at any level ever,” one fan reacted.

Deion Sanders Mentions Sherrone Moore’s Controversy While Explaining Unique Habits
Deion Sanders and his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, recently went viral because fans noticed a unique habit of the Colorado head coach during the offseason. Karrueche posted a story showcasing Coach Prime’s unique habit where he remains fully clothed in a spa room.
On February 19’s episode of the “We Got Time Today” show, Coach Prime explained that he has inculcated this habit to stay cautious about how he carries himself in public.
“I don’t know these folks,” Sanders replied, referring to the staff at the spa. “You know what just happened to the brother at the University of Michigan? Hey, hey. Not me. … I’m not gonna bring my ship down. No,” Sanders said.
Moore was hired to be the Michigan head coach after Jim Harbaugh left for the LA Chargers.
