Nine Iowa State Cyclones players entered the transfer portal. Audi Crooks joined Addy Brown, Kenzie Hare, Lilly Taulelei, and Aili Tanke in the transfer portal. Jada Williams joined Kim Mulkey’s LSU, Alisa Williams committed to Indiana, Reagan Wilson to Toledo, and Reece Beaty to Mississippi State.
Crooks, however, has yet to find her new team. Recently, she commented on what she would like in her next team.
“Absolutely. I’m looking for um culture number one first and foremost. Somewhere with good people. You can be a good basketball player, but good quality people, good character, and great personalities is number one.”
“Number two, uh somewhere with some shooters. I need a little help from the outside. Uh to to be an inside outside threat type of team, a dual threat team, and and number three, somewhere that uh is going to push me push me hard and and develop me into who I want to be when my name is called hopefully here in New York,” Crooks shared.
Audi Crooks started the 2025-26 season as one of the best players in college basketball. Iowa State Cyclones were one of the most in-form teams for the first few games. The duo of Audi Crooks and Jada Williams was the talk of the town. Iowa State really looked like a team that might make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
Iowa State Cyclones’ 2025-26 season
Audi Crooks averaged 25.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 31 games. These were her career high numbers. As for Jada Williams, she averaged 15.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 7.7 assists. However, the form dipped rather quickly.
Iowa State was 22-10 overall and 10-8 in the Big 12. They lost in the first round 72-63 to Syracuse. Coach Bill Fennelly has his work cut out for him in the next season in order to fill up his team again.
