Raven Johnson Drops 3-Word Comment on Dawn Staley’s Hilarious Basketball Skills Against South Carolina Star

Dawn Staley and Raven Johnson have been on the same team for some time, but a friendly basketball game between the two was seemingly an inevitability. The charismatic coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks was spotted on social media attempting to drive on Raven Johnson.

She was able to get off a shots, but missed it. She was able to get a rebound after the ball bounced back to her, but after a few more seconds of trying, she gave up on the game. The game was clearly at half-speed and more about messing around than trying to establish a winner.

The video clip, originally posted by the team’s official account, which was reposted to Johnson’s story on Instagram on Thursday, contained a three-word message about the coach.

“She so funny,” the post read.

The original post contained a poll that asked fans to vote on who they “got” between “PG1 and PG1.”

The options were “Seatbelt Gang” and a picture of an animal.

Of course, while things are playful and full of good feelings now, the tone is set to radically shift in the coming days.

Monumental Tilt Against Upcoming Opponent Looms For Raven Johnson and Dawn Staley’s Squad

Dawn Staley’s team is set to take on the first-ranked UConn Huskies on Friday with tip off set to take place at 7 p.m. EST. The UConn Huskies have made the Final Four in both the men’s and women’s basketball leagues this season and many agree it’s hard to know which unit is the tougher out in each tournament.

Either way, the Gamecocks will need to take care of business to keep their season alive for another game. With a win, Staley will advance to her sixth championship appearance with the team since 2016.

Will her team survive the likes of Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd?
