USC Trojans superstar JuJu Watkins found herself among the stars of the basketball world during this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend. However, fans online were concerned about her injury and recovery process. On Sunday, Feb. 15, the 2026 NBA All-Star Game was played at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, the home arena of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Among the celebrities present for the annual showcase of the NBA’s best players was Watkins, who was captured entering the arena in a video posted by @YahooSports on X/Twitter. In the clip, Watkins is seen wearing a white long-sleeved button-up, whose right side she tucked inside her black skirt, along with a matching pair of white sneakers and a black purse.
Even with Watkins out and about with the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities, college basketball fans couldn’t help but worry about her ACL injury.
“She walks with a lil’ limp. Hope she is okay,” one fan pointed out.
“I hope she recovers a 100 percent from her injury, she too raw,” another fan said.
“Oh, JuJu 💔💔,” another user captioned with a couple of broken heart emojis.
Other X users were just hyped to see Watkins at the All-Star Weekend.
“Always been her gate. She is fine,” one fan shared.
“This fit is teaaa, hold on,” another fan posted.
“She looks amazing,” another user wrote.
“OMGGG she looks adorable, Mali is so beautiful OMG,” a fan claimed.
Watkins tore her ACL in the first quarter of coach Lindsay Gottlieb’s Trojans’ second-round matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the 2025 NCAA tournament. Watkins was ruled out of the remainder of the 2025-26 collegiate hoops campaign. Without her, USC has an overall record of 16-9 (8-6 Big Ten) so far.
JuJu Watkins Debuts Her Player Edition Sneaker With Nike During The 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend
Apart from it being in Los Angeles, California, another reason JuJu Watkins was present throughout the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend is that she debuted her player edition sneaker with global sportswear company Nike during the NBA All-Star Weekend.
The pair is an exclusive colorway of LA Lakers superstar LeBron James’ “Nike LeBron NXXT Gen” signature model, and sports a sleek all-silver look, complemented by reflective hits.
