The Iowa State Cyclones are in the process of transitioning from the 2025-26 season to the 2026-27 season. Part of the process will be to adjust and pivot the roster where necessary. Some additions will come from high school, while some are set to come from different colleges.
However, the easiest way to see who could be added will be to know who is leaving. For the Cyclones, it appears that there will be no shortage of gaps in the roster to fill. Here’s a look at who is on the way out.
Iowa State Cyclones Entering Transfer Portal
At the time of writing, the team is set to lose double-digit players to the transfer portal. The Cyclones will lose at least four forwards, four guards, a point guard and a center. The team’s biggest loss in the exodus is set to be center star Audi Crooks, according to On3 and a Thursday report by KCCI.
Crooks has averaged at least 19.2 points in each of the last three seasons, including an average in 2024 and 2025 that led the Big 12 in both seasons. Most recently, Crooks averaged 25.8 points per game. She also led the Big 12 in field goal percentage in both years.
Two other key losses are set to be Jada Williams and Addy Brown, both of whom averaged double-digit points in 2025. The exodus appeared to have been sparked by the team’s disappointing end to an otherwise dominant season after falling in the first round to the Syracuse Orange.
