As Madison Booker knows, thanks to Shay Holle, New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has every reason to keep an eye on what’s going on in women’s college basketball. The basketball player, of course, is keeping a closer eye as a member of the Texas Longhorns.
She saw her teammate, Madison Booker, dominate first-hand as the future potential WNBA prospect put on an explosive performance in a blowout win over the weekend. Holle posted a reaction to the impressive final stat line on her Instagram story on Sunday.

“Yep yep yep,” she posted.
Booker served as the difference in what otherwise might have been a nailbiter in the 100-58 win over Oregon. The young player made 14 of 21 field goals and 10 of 11 free throws, totaling 40 points. She also logged eight rebounds and five assists.
Of course, the explosion was only one of two dominant showings in March. On Mar. 7, Booker logged 31 points in an 85-64 win over Mississippi in a performance in which she also turned in 11 rebounds in what ended up being her third double-digit rebound showing in five games.
Of course, the season is not over for Booker and the Texas Longhorns.
Shay Holle and Madison Booker Wait To Learn Next Opponent
With Madison Booker and Shay Holle through to the next round first, the two and the rest of the Texas Longhorns will have every reason to tune into the matchup on Monday, Mar. 23 at 5:00 pm EST between the 24-10 Kentucky Wildcats and the 28-6 West Virginia Mountaineers.
The winner of the matchup will face Holle, Booker and the Longhorns on Mar. 28. The time of the matchup is to be determined.
Either way, however, the Longhorns are set for a quality matchup between their first-ranked team and either the fifth-ranked Wildcats or the fourth-ranked Mountaineers. Will it take another 40-bomb from Booker to come out on top?
