Audi Crooks will soon decide where she will play next. After three seasons at Ames with the Iowa State Cyclones, the star player has decided to move to a new school for her final season of college eligibility.
While fans wait in suspense, Crooks decided to share other news concerning her boyfriend’s move to Division I FBS football. Alexander Kenward, an offensive tackle who played his freshman year at Iowa Central Community College, has just transferred to Sacramento State.
Crooks shared the news on Instagram and showed her support for Kenward.
“💚💚,” she wrote.

The Sacramento State Hornets are transitioning from FCS to FBS during the 2026 season. Kenward, an offensive tackle, helped Iowa Central Community College post an 8-4 record in 2025 and get a One Game Bowl berth. He will have three years of eligibility left.
In November 2025, Audi Crooks and Alexander Kenward celebrated their first anniversary together. Kenward celebrated the occasion by posting a photo carousel of them together on his Instagram account, which he paired with the following caption:
“Happy one year to my amazing girlfriend every day with you is a gift and I’m so grateful for all the laughs love and adventures we have shared here is to many more years of happiness together❤️❤️,” wrote Kenward
Where could Audi Crooks end up next season?
At this point, there is no indication of where Crooks could end up. What seems clear is that she’s looking for a program where she can make a national title run, as Iowa State has done poorly in the NCAA Tournament during her stay. In 2023-24, they only made it to the second round, and in the next two seasons, they couldn’t advance past the first round.
The Texas Longhorns, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Iowa and TCU have all been floated as potential destinations. Other, more far-fetched option include South Carolina and UCLA.
