Kevin Durant’s Brother Astounded By Caitlin Clark Hate As He Hits Back At Angel Reese Fan

The Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese rivalry regularly finds new voices on social media, and this time, it’s Kevin Durant’s brother, Tony. Podcaster Rachel Annamarie Demita and a sports bettor discussed the impact of Clark’s arrival in the league in a video on Instagram. Tony Durant also shared his thoughts on the highly debated topic.

In a video uploaded by Clash on social media, the two sports personalities discussed whether the Iowa native could be considered the face of the league, given the kind of viewership and engagement she has brought. The sports bettor said:

“It’s overhyped, like she’s (Clark’s) doing what she needs to do to bring viewership in, but outside of bringing the people in, it’s like ‘what’re we here for?'”

While several fans agreed with her idea of Clark being overhyped for bringing numbers to the league, Kevin Durant’s brother, who is also a basketball coach, didn’t seem convinced. He wrote:

“The level of hate and the need to never really tell the truth is astounding lmaoooo but we all know who the 1 is!!!!”

One more user quickly came up with a rebuttal to Tony’s statement and said that people didn’t know Clark until she lost to Angel Reese in the finals of the 2023 March Madness. Tony responded to the fan’s comment and stated that the statement didn’t make any sense. He wrote:

“You don’t make any sense, lmaooooooo”

While the debate between the impact of Clark and Reese has been going on for a long time, the WNBA numbers have favored the guard. The 2024 Rookie of the Year defeated Reese and Sky three times in 2024 and dropped just one game by a single point.

“We have so much more to give,” Lexie Hull believes in Fever’s title chances with Caitlin Clark this season

In a recent conversation with FOX News, Lexie Hull stated that the Indiana Fever was looking to make a title run in 2026 with Tres Leches back on the roster. Hull and the Fever reached the semifinals last season, and she was confident of their chances this time. She said:

“Tasting that and being so close and feeling like we have so much more to give, I think that just changes our mindset a little bit. And it’s not necessarily overconfident, but confident in the fact that we really do have a chance. And we should be playing like every game matters, and we’re preparing for that last one.”

With Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull, and Caitlin Clark back together, along with a new addition of Tyasha Harris on the bench, the team looks even stronger. Aliyah Boston’s presence in the frontcourt, along with Natasha Howard, who has not yet announced her decision, would make the Fever a complete squad.

The management also has a 10th pick in the upcoming draft. Time will tell how strong the team looks at the start of the season.
