Lauren Betts is one of the most high-profile rookies in the WNBA today, coming off a massive national championship run over at UCLA. Despite her busy schedule with her new team, the Washington Mystics, the star center still found some time to pursue one of her passions, which is fashion.
During her off time, Lauren Betts teamed up with fashion and accessories brand Gorjana for a special photoshoot that shows off not just her basketball skills, but also her style off the court.
The Mystics center has never been afraid to show off her style, and this has gotten some of her colleagues to cheer her on.

The Mystics center had some fashionable NIL deals back in college and is certainly known to flaunt her outfits on social media. This aspect of her life has got her many followers outside of basketball. For now, she is focusing on developing her game and going to the playoffs with the Washington Mystics.
Lauren Betts Gets Some High Praise From Teammate Sonia Citron After Game Winner
Lauren Betts is coming off the best game of her young WNBA career so far, garnering 18 points and four rebounds during an 86-85 win over the Toronto Tempo last Friday. That close win was thanks to her teammate, Sonia Citron, who credited Betts for the game winner, which came after a jump ball won by the rookie center, leading to Citron showering her teammate with praise:
“I just remember if Lauren tips it to me, I’ve got to put it up. And she did a great job winning the tip, and I got it and had to shoot it. I didn’t have a choice, and just luckily it went in,” she said.
The Mystics are currently the youngest team in the NBA, and with those clutch moments from Citron and Betts, the team has a lot of potential.
