Sophie Cunningham Makes Massive Claim for Olivia Miles Over Azzi Fudd, Flau’jae Johnson And More

Olivia Miles was selected as the 2nd overall pick in the WNBA draft by Minnesota Lynx. Dallas Wings picked Azzi Fudd as the 1st pick. Many advocated that Olivia Miles should have been the first. However, the Lynx would be pretty happy with things turned out. Rookie from Notre Dame has already made her mark in the league.

She has already broken two rookie records. And is helping the Lynx on a dream WNBA run so far. They are certainly one of the favorites to win the WNBA title as of now. Olivia Miles is also solidifying her case for the ROTY award. Not only that, she is also making an impact on that MVP race.

Her form is so good right now that even rival players can’t stop themselves from praising her. Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham talked about Miles and she could only find good words for her.

“They said Olivia Miles was like up for rookie. She’s gonna get Rookie of the Year. I don’t know if anyone has watched her play, she is a beast,” Cunningham praised former Notre Dame and TCU star.

“She just has like the wiggle of a guy. She is so good, her passing, her shooting, her court vision. She is good. I like her and I know that people think it’s weird when you like compliment other people in our league because you have to play against them. But I am also like, give this girl her flowers. She is a freaking beast. I am a fan,” she continued.

“Our sport is always just like going against each other but I think it is cool to give people their flowers. And she 100% deserves it ’cause she is putting the whole league on notice right now. Huge fan,” she added.

Olivia Miles is currently leading the ROTY race ahead of Azzi Fudd, Flau’jae Johnson, Kiki Rice and more.
