The US and Israel joined their forces for a military operation in Iran on February 28, and WNBA player Destiny Littleton detailed every incident from the heart of the turmoil. The former NCAA player shared several videos of the real footage from Jerusalem that showed the conditions in the city. Several WNBA players and a former LA Laker shared prayers for Littleton.
Littleton, who was in Israel to play in the local leagues, posted a video yesterday in which sirens could be heard in the background, as the former Team USA player detailed the situation. She said:
“Siren is going off right now. This is the second siren of the day. I’m about to head to the shelter now, the vibes are really off and not a lot of people are out, so it feels very deserted, unfortunate but this is the circumstance right now.”
Littleton posted another video after a few hours for an update and explained her condition, being stuck in a foreign war-ridden country. She wrote in the caption:
“The night was rough getting woken up out my sleep scared shitless, praying no one was injured and I remained safe.
Starting this day with no answers I think is the hardest part of everything but we stay ready for the moment we can depart .
As my family and friends go to sleep in the United States I ask that you continue to pray for all impacted by this war. Love yall”

Another former LA Lakers player, Danny Green, also sent his prayer in comments and posted a few joined-hands emojis. Several other college players, like the San José State Spartans guard Amiah Simmons, also commented:
“Twinn be safe OMG”

Another WNBA player and Los Angeles Sparks forward, Lexi Gordon, also took to the comment section and posted a few red hearts for the national champion, who won with South Carolina in 2022.

Users on social media and several players and celebrities have expressed concerns over the recent developments on the geopolitical front. People have sent prayers for those suffering from these attacks and are stranded away from their homes.
