“She’s a Defense Lawyer”: Aliyah Boston Believes Caitlin Clark Can Excel in 3 Jobs If Not For Basketball

Caitlin Clark’s basketball skills are unmatched, but Aliyah Boston believes the 2024 Rookie of the Year can be successful in three other professions if she tries her hand at them. She has already extended her portfolio in broadcasting when she became part of the NBC panel. And now, her Indiana Fever teammate, Boston, has suggested other professions for Clark.

Talking on the Post Moves podcast on February 18, Aliyah Boston and Candace Parker, in a fun segment, discussed other professions Caitlin Clark could excel in if she were not part of the WNBA.

The 2023 Rookie of the Year said:

“Honestly, I can see her, I’d also let her own her place but that’ll be in golfing. Can you own a golf course? Yeah she’ll own a golf course.”

However, Parker had other ideas for the leading scorer in the Women’s NCAA basketball, as she said:

“I was thinking an accountant, like long skirt.”

Boston again came up with a third profession for Clark and said:

“Or like a lawyer, but she can do all three.”

When the former WNBA player questioned what kind of lawyer Clark can be, Boston instantly replied:

“She is a defense lawyer. Because when she walks in there, she’s gonna be like ‘yes, I am not playing around.'”

Even though Boston and Clark were collegiate-level rivals, the two have developed a close bond over the two years together in the Fever squad. In the absence of Clark this season due to a groin injury, Boston led the team in rebounds and assists.

Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston set to lead Team USA

Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston will now play together on the Team USA squad, as the two teammates were announced to be part of the national team. The team will play FIBA World Cup qualifiers in San Juan and Puerto Rico.

After Clark missed the last WNBA season due to a right groin injury, the sharp-shooter looks ready to lead the team to international glory. Her lob partner, Boston, will help space the floor on offense, giving the team a real shot at qualification. The fever center was part of the Olympic national team in qualifying, but they failed to feature in the final roster.

Clark’s inclusion will surely give the team a much-needed energy on the offense. Besides her unlimited range of shooting, her basketball IQ and speed of processing plays to help the defense make her a cut above the rest.
