Ben Shelton & Amanda Anisimova Reveal Their Celebrity Lookalike With Eerie Accuracy

Ben Shelton and Amanda Anisimova recently revealed their celebrity lookalikes in a fun interview. Both are gearing up to compete at Indian Wells at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

After producing a dominant performance at the Dallas Open, where he won the title against Taylor Fritz, Shelton will now make an appearance at the Indian Wells Masters, opening his run on March 7 against Reilly Opelka. On the other hand, Anisimova will also be competing at Indian Wells after her heartbreak at the Dubai Tennis Championships. Her first round is also on March 7 against Anna Blinkova.

Just ahead of this, they recently participated in a fun interview with the BNP Paribas Open amid their training. When asked about which celebrity they look like, they revealed names of those with whom they share an uncanny resemblance. Shelton took the name of the former football player Marcello’s son, Enzo Alves Vieira.

    He said:

“So, Marcello, the football player, his son, Enzo. We look exactly the same.”

Anisimova took the name of the American singer Billie Eilish.

“Billie Eilish. He thinks I look like Billie Eilish. I’ll take it. But I don’t think so,” said Amanda Anismova.

Ben Shelton Weighed in on His Dallas Open Victory

Ben Shelton solidified his position in the tennis community with his commanding performance at the Dallas Open. He defeated top-notch players, including Miomir Kecmanovic and Denis Shapovalov, to progress to the finals. He bested Taylor Fritz in the final round, securing a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 win over the American and winning the trophy.

Following the feat, he delivered a heartfelt speech during the post-match press conference, where he called his Dallas Open campaign a ‘great run.’

Reflecting on the matches he played here, he said:

“Yeah, it’s up there. It’s a great title run. It’s probably, you know, my second-best title run. I just think in terms of the quality of tennis, the opponents that I played, it was probably tougher than Tokyo. Obviously, Toronto being my first Masters, my biggest title for sure, but this is an important one for me and a cool one being on USO,” said Ben Shelton.

He further made his feelings known about the victory, adding:

“Really, really happy to end the week like this. It was a tough week physically, a lot of grueling matches. Tough path to the final. Nothing was easy about it, and that’s what makes it so sweet. Just happy to end the match with the final like that at such a high level.”

Along with the Dallas Open, Ben Shelton also produced a strong performance at the Australian Open, where he advanced to the quarterfinals but lost to Jannij Sinner.
