    Simone Biles Responds to Troll Questioning Her Vacation After Near-Fatal Medical Emergency

    Simone Biles has fired back at a fan who questioned her decision to post vacation photos so soon after a major health scare. Biles flew to Belize with her husband, Jonathan Owens, days after experiencing a medical emergency.

    After she shared memorable moments from her Central American vacation, a user questioned the timing.

    “Almost died but look at these traveling selfies…. 😂😂😂”

    Biles quickly responded to the critic:

    “Ugh, these comments make me sad. a little over two weeks ago, I experienced a serious medical emergency that could have ended very differently, and this trip has been part of allowing myself to heal & appreciate being here. I hope you understand that life-changing experiences can shift your perspective. & that you’re able to extend a little more grace to others moving forward 😘 have a nice day!.”

    Biles also responded to other comments that questioned her vacation, reiterating that the sole purpose of the holiday is to heal herself mentally and physically after an agonizing medical ordeal.

    Earlier this month, Biles was reportedly rushed to the hospital to deal with an undisclosed medical issue. She was seen strapped with medical bands on her wrist. She described it as one of the scariest experiences in her life.

    “Almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week,” Biles wrote on her Instagram story.

    Simone Biles Shares Photos Of Her Time In Belize

    Simone Biles gave a glimpse into her holiday in Belize, accompanied by her husband, Jonathan Owens. On Instagram, she posted a series of photos that captured the couple enjoying their time together.

    In one of the photos, the couple can be seen embracing in a restaurant, while another shot showed the pair taking a close-up selfie on a boat.

    “ME & U 🤎,” she captioned the post.

    It remains to be seen whether the gymnast decides to fully disclose her medical diagnosis, which has sparked widespread speculation.
