After weeks of speculation and calculations, former Razorback Joscelyn Roberson has finally picked Georgia as her next home, where she will spend the remaining two years of her eligibility. Roberson’s entry to Georgia has also brought her closer to the Landis couple, who were Roberson’s former coaches, helping her win multiple championships. Amidst the excitement, fans have subtly caught the other side of this news and pushed back on the announcement, citing the multi-city tour before the Georgia stop as an unnecessary spectacle.
Joscelyn Roberson is an accomplished gymnast who secured several accolades at a very young age, with the bronze on the vault at the 2025 World Gymnastics Championships being the highlight. While at Arkansas, Roberson achieved multiple feats that helped shape her athletic persona to great heights; however, this year, the artistic gymnast decided to enter the transfer portal and try her art out in another program, which she believed would expose her to greater heights.
On the journey to find the best one, Roberson first stopped by the lockers of Gainesville before turning west to pay a visit to UCLA, all while keeping the fans guessing on her anticipated selection. Roberson then visited Georgia and penned a sweet note on the reception received from the GymDogs and eventually signed up with the program for a new ride.
Fans have now taken to their social media to highlight Roberson’s visit to Florida and UCLA as an unnecessary voyage, as everyone believed that her foregone decision from the very beginning had to be Georgia, specifically due to Landi’s being their head coach.

Taking advantage of the free hospitality and getting to see some of her friends. Good for her!
Roberson’s move to Georgia was celebrated by the gymnast herself through her social media post, where she compiled a series of photos that included herself with Cécile Canqueteau-Landi and Laurent Landi while holding the GymDogs PlaCard.
Joscelyn Roberson Talks About Transitioning Her Nervousness into Excitement Before Big Events
Joscelyn Roberson has been part of several big gymnastic events that helped define her true caliber on the beams and floor. Roberson recently went live on her social media channel and spoke about the jitters she feels going into a big event, but highlighted how she has acquired the skill of turning that crunch into excitement.
“I think anybody would be nervous before big events, but I found a way to kinda change my nerves into excitement, just taking deep breaths and telling myself that I’m excited before I go,” said Roberson on her Instagram Live.
Roberson has yet to respond to the mixed criticism; however, through her social media statement, the gymnast has made her plans clear on how comforting the locker rooms of the GymDogs felt during her visit and has vowed to rewrite the program’s history books.
