Nebraska Volleyball Resale Tickets Hit $100s After Spring Exhibition in Sioux Falls vs. Iowa State Sells Out in Minutes

The Nebraska volleyball team is all set to compete in the spring exhibition, scheduled to take place on April 11 against Iowa. This match saw their resale tickets hit $100s, as the tickets were sold out in just minutes.

After an impressive beach volleyball season, the Nebraska volleyball team will be locking horns with Iowa State at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD. The excitement for the showdown is clearly visible among the fans as the tickets for it were sold quickly.

Another thing that caught attention was the price of the resale tickets. After all the tickets were sold, the officials released resale tickets, where cheap tickets alone went for $177. This is a huge achievement for the Huskers, as tickets don’t even get sold out in several schools.

Hailvarsity posted this news on Instagram, writing:

“Some schools don’t even sell tickets to spring exhibition volleyball matches. Meanwhile, for Nebraska volleyball, resale tickets are going for hundreds of dollars after every seat sold out in minutes for the exhibition in Sioux Falls vs. Iowa State tomorrow.”

The Nebraska volleyball team recently competed in the beach season, which commenced on February 23 and concluded on March 21 against Ave Maria. The Huskers finished the season with an overall 21-3 record.

Nebraska volleyball coach Dani Busboom Kelly made her feelings known about spring season after Bergen Reilly opened up about competing in her hometown

The Nebraska volleyball setter, Bergen Reilly, is excited to compete at the spring match, which will take place in her hometown, Sioux Falls. She attended the O’Gorman High School in South Dakota. In her recent interview, she revealed that she was excited to return to her hometown, competing in front of her friends and family.

Shortly after this, the team’s coach, Dani Busboom Kelly, also shared her opinion on this match, calling it a ‘glorified practice’ game for them.

“Sort of like a glorified practice. And we get to, you know, not only do we get to play against an opponent, but in front of fans and have that added pressure and a different vibe. And I think that’s what this team needs. We have a deep roster, so we’re not going to be overworking anybody on Saturday. Everybody’s going to get to play. And I think it’ll be really fun and a great arena and I know the people of Sioux Falls are pretty fired up for it,” Busboom Kelly said.

    She added:

“Definitely think it’s a little more volleyball and from a coaching staff, we have a little bit better flow, and I think it’s been better and easier from a coaching standpoint just because the personal relationships are there. We’ve had a year under our belt.”

After squaring off against Iowa State, the Huskers will lock horns with Creighton and Northern Colorado.
