Simone Biles recently revealed that she underwent a medical procedure and offered a glimpse of a surprise gift from her husband, Jonathan Owens.
After first posting pictures from the hospital in early June, Biles provided another health update on Instagram stories while celebrating Owens’ birthday. She shared a selfie of the two together in the hospital, confirming that her procedure had been completed. However, she did not disclose what the treatment was, writing:
“His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure 🥹🥹🥹🤍🤍🤍 I woke up singing bossman dlow “talk my shit”🤣🤣🤣🤣”
Alongside the health update, she also revealed that she received a surprise home gym setup from Owens. She shared a photo featuring a Swedish wall and a wall-mounted cable trainer, captioning it:
“Another surprise from my husband.”
She later posted another Instagram story showing her meeting with her former coach, Laurent Landi, and wrote:
“Always good to catch up🤍 @laurentlandigym”
Simone Biles has been away from the mat since the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she enjoyed a strong run and won four medals, including three gold medals and one silver medal.

On June 6, Simone Biles revealed that she had been hospitalized, describing it as the “scariest experience” of her life. In an Instagram story, she shared a photo of her wrist covered with hospital bands and said she ‘almost died.’ While Biles did not disclose what the health issue was, she wrote:
“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age. But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week❤️🩹 This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan was in Indy for practices. I’ve been in bed resting this week, I’ll explain sooner or later but s/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited & or sent flowers 🤍🤍🤍 loooovveeee y’all,” wrote Simone Biles.
After this unfortunate experience, Simone Biles went on a trip to Belize with her husband, Jonathan Owens, and shared selfies from the vacation on social media.
