The 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Regionals are around the corner, with multiple teams, including LSU, UCLA, Stanford, Florida, Georgia, and defending champion Oklahoma, competing. The regional round will be held from April 1 to 5, ahead of the NCAA Championships.
36 teams will participate in the regional round, with 1-16 being seeded by the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Committee. Eight teams from the regional round will enter the ultimate championship round.
Oklahoma will vie to bag its eighth and second consecutive title in the final round. A few top gymnasts to feature at the tournament are UCLA’s Jordan Chiles, Florida’s Skye Blakely, Jade Carey of Oregon State, and LSU’s Kailin Chio.
Teams Competing At The 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Regionals
The round before the ultimate 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Championship is divided into four regionals: Baton Rouge, Tempe, Lexington, and Corvallis. Each region will consist of nine teams, with the two lowest-seeded teams to compete in the first round. The top teams competing in each regional are mentioned below:
Baton Rouge Regional (LSU): Stanford, Clemson, Air Force, Nebraska, Auburn, Michigan, North Carolina, and Utah State.
Tempe Regional (Arizona State): Arizona, Arizona State, Florida, Georgia, Michigan State, BYU, Southern Utah, California, and Penn State.
Lexington Regional (Kentucky): Central Michigan, Rutgers, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, N.C. State, Maryland, Ohio State.
Corvallis Regional (Oregon State): San Jose State, Washington, Alabama, Utah, Denver, Oregon State, UCLA, Minnesota, Iowa.
Format and Qualification Path of the 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Regionals
The Regionals will consist of three rounds. After the last two seeds compete against each other in the first round (play-in), one team will be eliminated while the other will advance to the second round. Eight teams will compete in the regional semifinal (round two), which will be divided into two sessions. The top two teams from each session will cruise through to the final round in the regionals. The top two dominating teams at the final round will earn a spot to compete in the National Championships, the first round of which is slated on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

How to Watch the 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Regionals?
Fans excited to watch the action live at the regional championships can tune in to ESPN+.
The NCAA regionals will be followed by two semifinal rounds on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET and the final championship round on Saturday, April 18, at 4:00 p.m. ET. The last two rounds of the NCAA Championships will be held at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
