After ending her Olympic campaign without a podium finish, Amber Glenn delivered a stunning performance at the exhibition gala. Her performance charmed the entire audience, including the American singer Lady Gaga.
On Thursday, February 19, Glenn competed in the free skate finals, which was her last event at Milan-Cortina. She entered this event in 13th position, as her short skate qualifiers did not go as expected. She couldn’t secure a podium finish after her shaky performance, where she made an error in a jump while executing the triple toe loop.
For this mistake, she had to pay a heavy price in her scoring, as she attained 67.39 points and ended in the 13th-place finish.
However, she did not lose hope in the free skate finals and made a huge leap by earning a fifth-place finish, which was just a few points away from a podium finish. Days after this, she returned to the ice on February 21 at the exhibition gala. Here, she performed in Lady Gaga’s version of ‘That’s Life.’
The American depicted her Olympic journey, representing the ups and downs and showing her version of ‘That’s Life.’ It garnered the attention of the singer herself. Lady Gaga reacted to a TikTok video of Glenn’s gala skate to her song, commenting:
